The Upstate Premier League (UPL) and Upstate Football League (UFL) make up the Upstate’s first structured, tiered outdoor 8v8 soccer system. Each division has 10 teams, competing in up to 22 weekly matches - 18 league matches & up to 4 cup matches.  All 20 teams compete in the Upstate Cup, a single-elimination tournament held across both divisions with random draws for each round to keep every matchup unpredictable. We are planning to start with our 2026 Fall season starting late July/early August. We are still working on reserving a consistent field to become the home of our league. 

Our goal is to have a professionally managed league that is competitive, structured and community driven but also long lasting. We believe the soccer community here in the Upstate has been needing this type of league for a long time.
